Pixie was the first dog out of 6 that I have had that wasn't a puppy. She was 13 months old and not housebroken. It definately has been a challenge to get her potty trained. I started on pee pads as my other Yorkie only will go on them but Pixie never got the concept and would go on the pads sometimes or where ever she was when she neeed to go. My pom only goes outside and Pixie started a few months ago going outside so I started rewarding her for going outside and she is about 80-90 % outside trained now. I think a puppy at 5-6 months is easier to train than ab 8 week old but any older you MAY have a harder time. |
