Sea breeze oil works well too and the makers of it has something called "fluffy butts" too. I have seen a lot of yorkies that have the "different" hair from their mid back to behind...it is odd.

We use SheaPet and their extra conditioner (fur butter - fur worse)...it seems to work well.

We also switched foods to Canidea and use Missing Link and that seems to have helped their hair 100% as well!
