Morning! and Welcome to YT!! I have an adult and a puppy, (yorkies) while yorkies have a mind of their own and pretty much do what they want, when they want they can be trained. I brought both of the girls to obedience training. The adult did better at some of the training than the puppy did and vise versa. The thing is you have to be consistent with them...work with them everyday for at least 5 or 10 minutes. I do believe that ANY dog can be trained. Have you ever watched the dog whisperer? He is GREAT with dogs. and most of them are adults.
