The best way I've discovered to get Sugar to come to me is to call another animal over to be petted. If I start to pet someone else Sugar speeds into my lap. She thinks she's the only one I should be loving on. It's kind of funny though, my cat comes when called more often than Sugar does. I try to convince Sugar that she should come more often than my cat does. She doesn't agree.
