There is no set time..do what your heart tells you. If I lost a companion, I would get another as soon as possible. I do not remember how you lost Tyler..if the breeder was reputable, why not? You can never replace a pet, but you can give another Yorkie the love you wanted to give Tyler. I think it is great tribute to a lost companion to get another..some people never want to go through that pain again...but life is full of pain and Yorkies have a way of making us forget what is going on in the world for a few minutes! I am sure Tyler was like most Yorkies and could sense saddest in his humans..he wouldn't want you to grieve for months over him. |
