Very funny! Actually, the first 2 years of his life he was a royal pain in the ass when it came to food. Oh the games I'd have to play to get him to eat. Although give him some nice fresh warm s*** and he'd gobbled that down in a blink of an eye (yuck). Thank goodness we have that under control now.
I don't think he and Roxy ate much at the breeders 'place' other than s*** - b/c that's where that habit came from and they BOTH were skin and bones when I got them, so I am sure that the 1.8 lbs was 'under' what his weight should have been. After he turned 1 year old, he rapidly started to grow and that's when he put on most of his adult weight.
TJ eats 2x a day and he doesn't get much. He is on a special diet for liver compromised dogs and he mostly eats veggies and fruits. TJ is tall and long. I think he ideal weight is 6.5 lbs. We go to the Vet tomorrow to get nails cut and I will weigh him again, he may very well be at 6.5 lbs now, b/c he does feel just right now
