we are still working on the come command too!! avery will do everything from sit.. to roll over.. she will even "dance" haha.. but you think she wants to do something as simple as get her lil butt over to me when i call her.. haha. ..NO!!
(she too will come when i say certain things like.. 'wanna go on a walk?', 'wanna go buh bye?' 'treat', etc. she will even come when i tell her to 'let me do her hair', for goodness sake!! haha.)
We were on a walk the other night.. and there is a dog training place by our house.. that does classes, etc. and there was one going on.. And there was one thing we could CLEARLY hear the trainer say to the class.. she said, "The most important thing you will ever teach your dog, is the come command!!" She said that they should come on command, no matter what!! .. whether they are eating, playing, etc. Tim and i just looked at each other(knowing this is what we are needing to teach her)
we better get on it!!
