So tomorrow is my big moving day. I lived in Chicago until August then I moved out to Fox Lake, Illinois. Well tomorrow I will be moving back into the city. Its about an hour away. I'm a bit concerned about my Riley. He has grown very attached to my boyfriend's border collie, Shady. Shady will not be moving with us. I know moves can be hard on dogs. Riley is only 6 months old, but I'm still worried. What are some things that I can do to help Riley cope with the move and being away from Shady? Riley will get to see Shady on Thanksgiving, but I'm sure its going to be hard. I can tell Shady is already realizing whats going to happen.
