I'm a long way from you, Maryland, but in our area the local pet stores always have a photographer come in around now to have holiday pictures taken. They always have "packages" available and some of them actually make the cards with the pictures on them. Both our Pet Smart and Superpetz do this. They'll do the dogs (or cats, or whatever you want) alone or as a family portrait with the whole family. They usually have a "Santa" there also so the babies can have the picture done with Santa if you want. These photographers obviously have worked with animals before, because I have found them to be quite good. Good luck! Hope you find somewhere to do them for you.
