hi, just wondered if any of you have had babies that have popped their knee cap out. mickey was playing with his sister bella yesterday and they were chasing each other and jumping on and off of my bed ( which they have done loads of times) and all looked ok, then mickey started limping so i panicked (as usual
) and my husband checked his leg which mickey let us do and he didnt seem to be in pain. i made appt at vet that afternoon and they said he had popped his knee cap out and it is common for this to happen to yorkies. he got pain killer injection and i had to take him back today and the vet said the swelling is down and hes much better. just got to give him pain killer drops in food over weekend and take him back monday for check up. he is doing ok and even tho i am trying to get him to take it easy he is running around like mad again
. vet said when he is older he might need bit bone shaved off his knee so his knee cap stays in. just wondered if any of you had experiance of this. thanks x
