To be honest...every single litter, I made a big deal out of getting a whelping box ready, fussed over it, trying to make everything just perfect, and in the end...they never want to use it and I end up covering up a spot (usually one of their beds) with washable pee pads to begin their labor. LOL
Mine never like a whelping box so now I never fuss
