I've been looking into buying a Yorkie in Mexico and then taking it home with me to the United States. So I've been looking at the requirements. One that I noticed is that the rabies vaccine has to be done at lest 30 days before shipping the puppy into the United States if it comes from an area that has rabies. If the puppy is under 3 months, then that rule does not apply. From Mexico, you need a letter from the vet stating the baby is in good health and the vaccination records showing that they are up to date. It might be similar to what is necessary from Brazil, but I'm not sure about that.
So these Brazilian Yorkies....can anyone tell me more about them? I saw some advertised as Brazilian Yorkies. Is there a difference or something? I thought a Yorkie was a Yorkie, no matter what country they come from.
