Help.. the breeding process!!! The days have finally come that my baby boy... Scoobie is becoming a man. We recently moved to a new house where LOL... 2 female yorkies one right next to each other fell out of the sky & are looking for males... well lucky me huh? Scoobie.. has 2 girlfriends, one that is in heat NOW & another that should be in heat in a month or 2. Here's the thing... Scoobie has been trying to get on top of her for about a week, we noticed that she wouldnt let him, then finally starting friday she let him, but were talking about a 1st timer here, he had NO clue what to do & our worry is that hes too small for her. well.. we would see them there but we couldnt tell if they were together or not. Finally it happened, on Tuesday. I had her here at my house & I hear a yelp. When i go to see whats going on i see her rolling around on the floor & crying & he doesnt get away. When i try to get him off her I see they are stuck. Im sure you breeders know what i mean. I was like OMG, what do i do now? I was told to pour warm water on them, but that didnt help. So i called the vet & he said just leave them alone & they will unattached in 15-20 mins, the ONLY thing that had me worried was they looked like what they called a dog with 2 heads & she was dragging him around & his thing was flipped the other way if he was looking away from her. So of course they finally let go about 20 mins later. They didnt touch each other again. He didnt want to have anything to do with her. She went home. Yesterday same thing but she didnt cry & they were unattached in maybe less than 15 mins. But still we had a dog with 2 heads. I am wondering.. will this get better? Wil she learn how to unattached sooner? Is he ejeculating inside of her? Whats up? I wanna make sure my lil man is getting pregnant, is there anything i can do to help. I have tried to get near them before but they run away from me. Scoobie doesnt allow anyone to touch her when hes trying to do his thing. PLEASE HELP!!!!! Thanks. O BTW---- If she is pregnant! When is the right time to take her to the vet to do an Xray to find out how many puppies shes having. & is it really an Xray? or is it an ultrasound?!?! Thanks for any & all help! |
