We had 10 Yorkies @ the same time earlier this Summer and ALL 10 we're Litter box trianed...I now have 8 and they too are still litter box trained...Even our 3 year olds are! Just got them trained this Summer. I love it NO more RAIN, SNOW, COLD!!! To just go potty! LOL!. Really it's the best way to go with Yorkshire Terriers! Put a regular litter box with a puppy pad under it in another room and see if he will use it. I don't know about the electronic ones I just use the old plastic kind. Mine don't really make messes in ours! They are such good Babies!!!!! I'm VERY VERY Proud of all of mine for going potty for me in our litter boxes!!!!!! It keeps them ALL so much cleaner, such pretty coats now and not near as many tangles and matts!!! And they don't STINK anymore from the dew, snow and rain. I love it!!!!!!!!
