Ellie was just spayed at 5 1/2 pounds and I was so nervous, so I definately understand your concern. I would wait if I thought she was going to get bigger but by six months I'm not sure that will happen. It was harder with Ellie than I thought. I knew she would be tired but not that tired the first night. She got to come home 3 1/2 hours after surgery and the most she could do is sit. That she couldn't do well. She was walking the next day and was just about back to normal the day after that. Now we are having a peeing in the onesie issus and someone has to change it. I think you should do it when it fits in your schedule better if you don't think she'll get any bigger.
