I'm sorry; I don't mean to repeat myself, but is the 3 yr rabies shot the same as what used to be the 1 yr and they just extended the amount of time between boosters, or is it a different formulation? I'm trying to figure out if Max even needs to go in for his shots or if we can wait another year or two? I know my vet would say they need it every year (b/c that's just the way they are here). I've been considering going to another vet and I expect they'll want to do all his shots anyway.
