By assist feeding him, I mean with a syringe. We are feeding him A/D because it is the only thing we can get through it. He is 2.5 lbs. at almost 3 months old. We leave him all sorts of different foods out at all times. Yes, we are giving nutri-cal three times daily. He has eaten a few pieces of kibbles by himself, but when we did eat on his own he ate mainly wet food with a tad milk or gatorade in it. He doesnt even want to lick the nutrical off our fingers. But may I remind you, he has not been in our home for more than a week. He has been at the vets or hospital longer than our house.
We feed him about 1 syringe full to 1.5 within 3-4 hours a day.
He does not have diahrea anymore, but it is a formed wet poo. I belive it to be from the wet food. Also, he pees regularly and everything with out much water intake as well. |
