I agree; much cheaper to pick the supplies up separately and I too, did not use alot of what I bought. Not to say I will never have to use some of the things; just didn't happen to need them this time. If your female is only 3 weeks along, just start picking up things you might need in your kit a couple of items at a time. That way you don't have to spend alot of money all at once.
