First, let me say, I have not read any of the other replies here, but wanted to add my own.

When I knew Alycia was needing someone to take a puppy to Texas, I immediately volunteered because I was going there anyway at the same time frame. I was more than happy to do it. At the same time, I also bought one of her puppies from her as a birthday gift to one of my good friends. So....the trip to TN to deliver a pup was actually to deliver 2 pups. That's $600 that she got for the 2 dogs, one trip to TN, where she also has family (or her husband has family) and she ended up taking her time getting back home. So clearly the money was not too big of an issue or she would have gotten back home so she could get to work...or whatever her family does to make money

from what i understand....she took quite the little "vacation time" during this trip. also keep in mind that i offered to meet her part way on her trip down to keep her from having to drive all the way. she wouldn't hear of it because she had family she could stay with. so...again...no hotel fees for her. so the money she got for these pups was HARDLY exhausted on getting them to TN like she wants everyone to believe.

during the days that I had the pup, my house became nearly infested with fleas!! Thankfully, I was able to get the puppy cleaned up and flea-less for his new home. but for months after, I was battling trying to get the fleas out of my house. I have 3 dogs and a small child who has LOTS of stuffed animals and such....it was a nightmare. She delivered 2 puppies to my house that were covered in sores. when questioned about it, she said she saw "a flea" on one of the pups and got them all treated. that the sores were from scratching. let me just say...i mentioned earlier that my house had become "nearly infested" with fleas and my dogs never got a single sore. this tells me these pups had fleas for a loooong time. either that...or their living conditions were so bad that the sores were from something else. let me not forget to mention that when she got the pups out of the crate in the car, they were covered in pee and poop.

let me just rant and rave about her trip here for a minute....
she was several hours late getting here. me and my friend both waited...along with another yt'er...for her to show up. i had my birthday party that night and needed to clean house and shop for the party. The people were scheduled to start showing up 2 hours after she got here!!!!!!!!! so when she got here, i was kinda getting nervous thinking that I was not going to have time to do all that i needed to do...plus preparing the food and everything. it was just very stressful all around. well, she was here about an hour, then kept saying they needed to leave because her husband was tired. but he wanted to stop at a bass pro shop on their way out. i told her how to get there, then offered her a purse to carry her dog in the mall in. so they left, she was crying, saying she was going to miss the puppies. it was kinda sad, actually.

well, a few days later, i catch wind of a post she made on another forum about how rude i was, and that all i cared about was taking her pups away from her and getting her out of my house

she bashed me up one side and back down another. i was soooo ticked. i called her out on it. i told her that she had a lot of nerve. and on top of acting like that....for her to bring puppies in the condition she brought them in was just completely uncalled for. in fact, the new owners of a couple of her puppies told her the same thing. yet she could simply point her finger at me, bash me on other forums, and act like i was the bad one here. blew my mind. i was COMPLETELY hospitable, even tho i was very pressed for time because of her tardiness. had she been here on time, we could have had hours of time to chit chat...and even tho that wasn't the case...i NEVER pushed her out of my house or made her feel like she had to leave. she indicated she needed to go.

i just think her integrity leaves a lot to be desired. i have read that she owes a lot of people bows and such that she has taken money for but never delivered. i just don't get it.

i fully understand falling on hard times. but i do not understand how you can take money from people, take "hand outs" all the time, and still sleep at night knowing you have screwed so many people over.

i feel sorry for her dogs...and her children. i really do.

sorry this is so long...but i want you to know that you are not alone in your angers and frustrations!!! i think many of us feel them right along with you. i'm sorry she took so much of your money!!! that is just not right at all. i have had "friends" do that to me and i know exactly how you feel.
