Oh my! How sad for her children. I am a mother of four boy's and could not imagine not having running water for them to bath in or to clean and cook with!
She should not have her kids or animals in that kind of living conditions!
I hope some one turned her in to Childrens services! They do try to keep families together and provide parenting classes and also steer you in the direction for other help that she might qualify for. I know that one does not like to do this but sometimes it is the only thing that gets the parents off their butts and take proper care of their children! If they do not properly care for their own children then they need to be put with a family that will care for them! I am good friend with a family that foster cares and my sister in law adopted 2 little boy's that she foster cared for.
Jakes mom, I remember reading about your poor little Lily. God Bless you for taking her in and caring for her and giving her the LOVE she so needed. I know that she did not make it but for the little amount of time you did have together was a gift to both of you.
Janell, thank you for bringing this to other's attention. It is alfull that she used you like she did. You seem like a nice person to lend someone mony like that without questions and giving such a long time frame to pay you back. I am so sorry that she did this to you.
