I've also been using potty pads. Alley is 10 months old. A week after I got him, there were hawks discovered in my neighborhood, so bye-bye outside! I did have a "room built for him" off of the screened in porch, he only wants to play there and not do his business there. He'll come flying back inside to use his pad instead. He too gets a little attitude and will tear up his pad too. He only does it when I'm at work so I know it's just to get some attention. I've added a pic of his playroom!
