yes just put the pad in the basin. Start out with putting it in the area where she is already used to peeing. Odds are she is going to be confused and she won't use the basin at first. You will have to teach her. Start from the basics. Use whatever method, you did for getting her to use the pad alone. Be consistent, and keep doing. It will take a few days! And use treats! LOTS OF TREATS! That will speed along the process!
As far as using the basin at your relatives houses. Use the same process there. It is a different environment, and again she won't understand. I bought a wizdog for Annie for my parents place but she just doesn't get it (or she is being stubborn
)even though it is the same thing. So when I am there we just take her out every couple hours and that works better... But if you want to use the basin there, then you will have to train her to use the basin there as well. Back to the basics
