OK most of you know that tucker is being trained to be a service dog.
well, today i really buckled down and started with his training. he is doing amazing!! thanks to socalyorkilvr for giving me some tips and being so helpful through the whole thing!!
but she told me to try doing it right before meal time so he's hungry and will respond to treats. also to do it with his leash on so he has to bring back the object.
i did both of those things and he's doing amazing!! he'll get what ever i throw and he gives it back. i started with the leash and now we are at the point where he can do it with out the leash!!!!
I am so happy!! i was getting a little worried because he wasn't responding at all,
now he's doing amazing!!! i'm going to do this for a little while everyday until he really understands.
I think he'll be a great service dog soon enough!!
