I have heard that too about males being more cuddly and I agree, it probably depends on the individual personality. Daisy was not a cuddler to begin with and she was from a litter of two. The breeder only had two breeding dogs and Daisy was from the first litter. She was never put in a cage had the run of the house along with her littermate and parents. The whole family loved her and her littermate to pieces. When we went to pick her up to bring her home, the whole family (including grandkids) was there to say goodbye and they were so upset to see her go, I saw a grown man (the breeder) with teary eyes.
I was wondering if maybe Daisy was given TOO MUCH freedom by the breeder and didn't want to have boundries and limits that we set for her. Anyway she did turn out to be a big time cuddler after all and we love her to pieces.
