Very true. I had to find a new vet when I first got my Codie because when I took him in for his first check-up, I asked the vet how many toy breed dogs he works on and he said not a lot, he mostly works on large dogs and cats. That was a big sign for me to find another vet and it's a good thing I did because my Codie ended up needing surgery for his luxated patella. I'm glad a vet who has done MANY of those operations worked on him.
