I think it took Daisy around 6 months too. At first she did not want to cuddle and at night she didn't want to be touched at all (she sleeps in our bed). If you touched her even slightly, she would get up and move out of your reach. Then she gradually became the biggest snuggle bunny ever. She is still very independent and if you want to snuggle and she doesn't she will get up and leave.

Our trainer once told us to sometimes sit with Daisy next to you. Then when she gets up to leave, dont say anything, but just gently pull her back toward you so that she knows she will leave when YOU want her to. I do that once in awhile and she gets the message.

I think your baby will love snuggling with you in time. I was a little worried about Daisy at first too.
