I'd say go Sears... they even offer lessons sometimes... they have a wide variety... and you can easily return or exchange... Or Sams or costco, they have basic ones that are not so basic, if that makes any sense, and prices are pretty good... Go girl!!! I have two industrial sewing machines, one antique one made a lamp, one antique one working (was my grandma's), one oldie but goodie, one newer but too small,and one embroidery machine... My husband cannot believe I still look at the stores... It's like an addiction!!!!!!!
