Animal Smiley 049 Corky has a cold- what about antioxidants?

Corky is coughing, spluttering and terribly conjested. I'm worried because he is 13 and more fragile than I'd thought. No, I'm fairly sure it isn't Kennel cough since it's not constant...only wheh he's out in the cold or waking up in the morning. Having said that, I never had him vaccinated (ignorance about kennel cough). I'm afraid to take him for the vaccination until he's over this cold

We've cut his walks down to the basics...pee, poop and home...no long walks. He wears a coat, of course. But what more can we do besides keeping him warm, dry, fed and watered? He's been sick for three days now, since Sunday.

A few days ago I met a guy in passing with his 14 year old dog who was in excellent health. He said he gives her a lot of antioxidants but left before elaborating. Do any of you yorkie moms and dads give your babies antioxidants? What should he be getting? When I'm sick I take a lot of vitamin C but how do I give that to my yorkie and is it dangerous?

Thanks for any advice.

Cordially, Travelvixen...corky's mom
