In regard to toys, I have found that most human infant toys are great for puppies. They are already "child proof". A great one to get is a little stuffed animal that has the rubbery shapes for hands and feet (for a human baby to teethe on). You will not want to get her raw hide. Nylabone is a safe one. Wishing you years of happiness with your new puppy! If you do get the playpen and it has mesh sides, just tap with one finger where the puppy puts her paws while standing up and tell her "no, no". When she puts her paws back down pet her and tell her what a good girl she is.
