When Lacy was a puppy she chewed up a section of carpet in my living room where it meets the tile in the kitchen. Honestly, it never was secure there - you could lift the carpet up a little from the floor. I told my dad that the vacuum cleaner had caught the edge of the carpet and started shredding it and it kept getting worse over time. I didn't want him to get mad at Lacy and I needed to replace that section of carpet.

She also chewed up a small section of baseboard as a puppy in the downstairs bathroom and before my parents came to visit, I sanded it down and repainted it. My dad still noticed it but said I did a good job of covering it up
