Very true! I'm in vet school and we have the joke - what does C equal? DVM! And we've been told several times that whether we are #1 in our class or #132 we'll all walk across that graduation stage as doctors.

Anyway though...even recommendations from vets with vary from vet to vet. And you don't learn squat about nutrition in vet school. I think Hills is going to give us a little lecture on small animal nutrition our second year...and yeah, that's about it. Most vets just don't know much about the best food for dogs
