No. You wouldn't expect to eat cookie/crackers and have them clean your teeth would you? The grains in the kibble (and canned) are mostly what build up and cause plaque on the teeth. No matter what you feed, it's essential to brush your dog's teeth regularly to keep them clean and healthy
