I agree, it sounds like you're really on the right track. For the peeing right after they already peed, the only other thing I'd share from my experience is that I had to be very careful to not go-crazy praise until AFTER they were done. If they started to pee and I got all excited, it would distract them. They wouldn't really finish and would often result in accidents off the pad. So I learned to just smile and offer very quiet soothing praises until they were done. THEN I'd go crazy with the praise. It seemed to help me. Good Luck!!
