Doesn't it depend on what kind of food you feed the amount the dog gets throughout the day? And base it on the pups activity level, spread out over 4 to 5 small meals. Not all food requires that amount on a daily basis.
Try mixing a little warm water or a drop of moist food to entice him to eat. Your baby is beautiful, he is still adjusting to his new surroundings.
