At 10 weeks old, they don't have time to be petted. They have way too many things to explore. Maggie is 5 months old. She has just started being a lap baby. She loves back to be massaged and also her tummy to be rubbed. If you sit down, you might as well get comfortable, because she just took up your lap.
Give your baby a couple more months, and you will get your wish.
