What would make him react like this? I took Buddy for his second walk this am before leaving for work.
We go the same way daily but his reaction when we got to a certain
grassy area was shocking! He stopped sniffed nervously, his tail went
under and his ears went back and he refused to move forward.
There was nothing around. I looked and everything was completly
uneventfull, to me.
He pulled me back and turned and went the other way looking behind
him as we walked, tail still tucked in. Something frightened him but there
was nothing there.
I went into the street and tried to go around the area but when we reached
it, even in the street he reacted the same way and would not budge. He
was scared to death but of what? This has never happened before and
we walk the same area every day and have been for 3 1/2 yrs.
He senced something I would think but what? Nothing was anywhere to be
seen and I have never experienced his reaction to anything like this before.
When I saw his tail tucked under him and his ears back and him slinking to
the ground in fear I felt like something was there too but nothing was.
Any ideas? I'm going back tomorrow to see if he reacts the same way.
Really weird to me. |
