My reasoning is. Yes, Pits can be big ole teddy bears. But as sweet as they or any dog really is, any time you have dogs together, there are going to be times when one did something the other didn't like and they get a little snippy to let the other know how they feel. When a Pit gets snippy, regardless of how meaningless, it's still a Pit getting snippy and when its directed at a smaller dog, there stands the potential for some serious damage to be done.
