When I realized Sassy was pregnant, I only assumed that Tucker was the father because Emilee said he got over the gate the day before we got home. I had totally forgot about Gizmo getting her because Murphy's Law was working overtime from the week before at work and the vacation from hell which included my husband picking up the wrong suitcase at the airport before checking in, him leaving my new camera at the airport, almost missing the plane, having my suitcase arive in Key West instead of Ft. Lauderdale and not getting my cloths until the following day with the temperature in the upper ninety's, having someone back into the rental car in a parking lot, just to give you a few of our vacation highlights! And even much more stressful stuff when we got home. When our pups are younger, they all tend to look very similar but as they grow, there are distinct differences between Tucker and Gizmo's offspring, size being the most obvious. I've been keeping records of our litters weights from birth since we started breeding. When I finally thought about checking the whelping chart, the date they were born also confirms that they couldn't be Tucker's or Sassy would have whelped 8-9 days early and she's always whelped on time. Their development at birth and weight did not in any way suggest that they were 8 days early. I know that it is possible for more than one father but not is this case. There is absolutely no doubt that these girls are Gizmo's, not only by their coloring but also by their weight and birth date.
