Maddie will have a long day as well. It's about a ten hour drive back to TN, but we are trying to work it out to stay at a friend's house on the way back so that we can break it up for the little ones. (Marty's coming so that he can meet Maddie too!) My husband and I were thinking along the same lines though...one day in the car is a small price to pay to make sure she has a good home and that Megan and her family can know she's safe and happy.
So now there's even more reason for Megan and Teri to stick around--they can see pics of both Maddie AND Rusty!! |
I think when Teri and Megan came here to get Maddie it was about 6 hours, So about 1/2 way.. When are you going up?
