Thank you to all for the warm welcome. I will definately be here to share when I get my new little one. There is so much information on here, I love it. We are in the Palm Springs area, so the valley here is protecting us from th smoke, I thought, "we are a few hours away it won't reach us", but the other day we did get a little smoke and some ash when the winds were bad down south. Luckly since it is so hot here usually most people keep their pets inside, and have different cooling units that keep the smoke out.
