I guess my co-worker missed out on two great yorkies . So sorry for you. I unfortunately do not know anyone who is looking for a bigger dog right now. I wish I could take Rusty temporarily but I unfortunately can't. Since I got my little female yorkie, Cozy, my golden retriever, Lucky, has decided he does not like other male dogs. He won't hurt them but when he barks he means business.

Good luck with Rusty.

Have you tried tell your vet that you need to rehome Rusty? It is worth a shot. I ended up getting Cozy due to a rehome through my vets office who gave me the breeders name. Also some vets do private rescue work where they will hold a dog in there own kennels as long as they have the space.

You could also try calling local breeders to see if they know of anyone that could foster or adopt your Rusty. Put up signs in locate petstores. Just throwing out some ideas.
