I am aware of these meetups. Our Hailey went to the bridge on Dec. 23, 2006, and it has been a very difficult, wrenching year without her. We were supposed to take Yogi for a friend who had a stroke, but in the end, her daughter took him, and it has worked quite well. If Yogi had worked out for us, I would have gone to the Dallas meetups with him. I think it would look odd to go without a dog, and I know I would begin to weep uncontrollably when I saw all the Yorkies, thinking of my Hailey girl. Not a great way to make friends and influence people -- LOL! It's funny, over ten months later, and my emotions are still so raw, so close to the surface. Hailey was one in a million.
