We have chiggers here, for the longest time I couldn't figure out why my feet were itchiy with all these little bumps on my feet after I've been working in the yard even with socks and sneakers on. I keep Chip on Interceptor and Advantix year round. We go on daily walks with him running through brush and brambles, so nothing is more tempting to a tick in the winter than a warm fuzzy dog.
