Hello!! I get such a kick out of all of your stories!! This is my first pet ever, a 4 month old boy named Luigi. I have to say that I am truly blessed. We have had him for 1 month, and he has only had 1 poo accident in the house in the past 2 weeks!!! We live in Ohio and of course we have had a few snow storms, But Luigi just loves it out there!!!!!!!!
In the first 2 weeks, he just wasn't quite sure what to do or where to go. We put his pads by the door where we take him out and he just went there. Then we took the pads away after a few days, and he would just sit there and wait fot one of us to take him out. So far so good. We gave him lots of praise and love when he pooed or peed outside. Especially when it was only 10 degrees out there. Hopefully he keeps it up.
We were just very consistant. We also give him small ice cubes as treats when he comes in!! He loves them. Thats all he can have. Because of his sensitive tummy.
