What time is the cut off for his food. I used to stop lulu's food at about 7 or so and she would poop for the night. But in order to keep her blood sugar up I would give her a handful of cheerios before we went to sleep. She never pooped in the crate. Remember what they poop will not be the currently fed food it will most likely be food from earlier since when the food is ingested it has to be broken down and then waste moved into the intenstines.
