Different places have different set ups. At my shop, I have them dropped off at their appt time. 9 times out of 10 they are started within 5 mins of being dropped off and finsihed within 1 hour...very rarely they have to wait 30 mins to be started. I have not yet run later then 30-45 mins late. And I always let the owners know.
Most of the time pups don't mind our cages because I give them a nice blanket to curl up on and have a little snooze while they wait. I have more a of a problem with people going shopping and not arriving till 30 mins after the scheduled pick up time. Majority of the dogs don't mind but a few do and I feel so bad for them!!
