One thing hon, keep with ONE meal plan as the constant changing even with home cooking can cause him to not eat. And I mean measure and put exactly the same ingredients as you did, so you will have to measure and write it down. They can be so very picky if ONE tiny ingredient is too much, too less or missing . SEA SALT is good and beneficial in small quantities, table salt is A NO NO
Not true, actually. While changing their diet too abruptly can upset their tummies, a variety of different ingredients is good for your dog. Just be sure to introduce one new thing at a time-for example, start out with beef, rice, and split peas. Then after a week, change to beef, oatmeal, and split peas. I actually feed my dogs a different "meal" each day, and they are not picky at all, and have no tummy upset at all from it. I make up meals of ingredients they've had before, and freeze in 1 cup portions, then thaw what I need for that day. I make 2-3 recipes at once, so right now we have 3 kinds in the freezer, and I alternate between them.
