I have a friend that has a small (tiny) chi that has not had a rabies vaccine for the last four years due to her size. The last visit to the vet, he recommended they give her the shot and make her legal.............and she is fine!!!!! She is also 16 years old so it was a bit of a risk but the vet seemed confident that she woud be fine. So I think your checking around and maybe even calling your local pound or ASPCA to see what they may have in the way of a suggestion might be a good idea too!!!
