 Are rabies shots safe?
Hello,
I was just curious to know everyones feelings on rabies shots? I had a beautiful healthy female yorkie, she had her usually batch of vaccines, but my vet and I decided to wait on her rabies since she was so small. She ended up getting her rabies shot at 9 months old, and the next day was found dead. Not too long ago I found a report on it online and it said that they weren't safe for small dogs. Does anyone have any proof of the pros and cons of rabies shots? (the report just stated this but did not give any proof) My puppy was an inside dog, and only went outside for potty time, supervised. Because of the circumstances my breeder, decided to replace her, but from a few breeders I was told not to get the rabies shots. I just want to keep my future little one happy, and I don't want to go thru the samething again.
