Does she do it when you are in the room with her? I have 3 amazon parrots. 2 are a bonded pair and really don't care what I do but the 3rd is pretty attached to us. She will scream if she is alone and can hear our voices in a different part of the house. Her cage sits right by my desk in my office, and as long as I'm in sight of her she is quiet and content to just watch what I'm doing. If I spend most of the day in a different part of the house I bring her along on a tree stand and she is perfectly happy. She still does her morning and evening calls like most parrots do, but as long as her "flock" (the family) is it sight she is pretty quiet. |
